Diamonds and sauce pairs crystallised THCA with the terpene rich liquid it formed in. Potency from the crystals, flavour from the sauce, and neither works as well alone.
Two parts doing two jobs
Diamonds are crystallised THCA, the acidic precursor that becomes THC when heated. On their own they are extremely potent and almost flavourless, because the aroma compounds do not crystallise. Sauce is where those terpenes end up, a viscous, intensely aromatic liquid. Sold together, each covers the other’s weakness.
How it is made
Hydrocarbon extraction using butane on high terpene full spectrum material, then a controlled crystallisation that lets the diamonds form and separate naturally from the terpene fraction. It is a slow process, which is part of why the format sits at the top of the shelf.
What you get
- 1 gram of diamonds with terpene sauce
- Crystalline THCA plus a full terpene fraction
- Best in a dab rig or a concentrate rated vaporiser
Start smaller than you think
Concentrates are several times stronger than flower, so the working amount is genuinely tiny. A piece the size of a grain of rice is a real dose for most people. Take one, wait, then decide. Onset is fast enough that you will know within minutes, which makes this an easy format to judge accurately if you give it the chance.
Storage
Keep concentrates cooler than you would keep flower, and airtight. Glass or silicone, out of the light. If you refrigerate, let the container come back to room temperature before opening so moisture does not condense onto the extract.
