Enigma is rare, mysterious in origin, and genuinely potent. Intense visuals arrive alongside emotional and intellectual depth rather than instead of it.

The unusual growth
Enigma does not fruit in a conventional mushroom shape. It forms dense, brain-like masses with no distinct cap or stem, a genetic quirk that also makes it slow and difficult to cultivate. That is the main reason it stays rare and priced accordingly.
Weigh it carefully
The dense form means a piece weighs considerably more than its size suggests. This is a strain where estimating by eye goes wrong quickly.
What you get
Dried and cured to snap rather than bend, which is how you know the moisture is under control. Sold by weight, sealed and shipped discreetly.
Weigh, do not estimate
Mushroom caps and stems vary enormously in density, so eyeballing a dose is genuinely unreliable. A cheap set of scales that reads to 0.01g removes the biggest source of error in the whole process, and costs less than a single order.
Finding your dose
The common reference points for dried material are roughly 1g for a light experience, 1.5 to 2.5g for a moderate one, and 3.5g or above for a strong one. Those are averages rather than rules, and potency varies between strains and between flushes. Start a step below where you think you belong and work up across separate sessions.
Onset and timing
Allow a full 45 to 90 minutes before you consider taking more. Topping up because the first dose seems slow is the single most common way people end up further out than they intended. The experience typically runs four to six hours from onset, with a long gentle tail after that.
Set and setting
Where you are and what frame of mind you are in shape the experience more than the exact figure on the scales does. Somewhere familiar and comfortable, a clear day with nothing you need to be sharp for, and ideally someone sober around the first few times. Plan the landing as well as the take off.
Who should avoid this
Anyone with a personal or family history of psychosis or bipolar disorder, anyone pregnant or breastfeeding, and anyone taking SSRIs, MAOIs, lithium or tramadol should not take psilocybin without speaking to a doctor first. If you are unsure how something you take interacts, ask before rather than after.
Storage
Properly dried mushrooms should snap rather than bend. Any give means residual moisture, which means mould risk. Keep them in an airtight container with a desiccant packet, in a dark cupboard at room temperature. Stored dry and dark they hold potency for many months.
