Capsule
How people usually take it
Most follow a schedule rather than dosing daily, since tolerance builds quickly. One day on and two off, or four on and three off, are the two common protocols. The days off aren't optional extras, they're the mechanism that keeps the dose meaningful.
Capsules suit a schedule best because every dose is identical. Gummies are more palatable, and tinctures and drink mixes stir into coffee or tea if you'd rather not swallow capsules. Sample packs let you try a formulation before committing to a full jar.
What the research actually says
Worth knowing before you buy: the strongest placebo-controlled studies to date found that much of the reported benefit was matched by placebo. That's a real finding and we'd rather you heard it from us.
It doesn't mean people are imagining their experience. It means the cause is unclear and expectation is doing a meaningful share of the work. Go in with realistic expectations, and don't treat microdosing as a substitute for support you actually need. Our microdosing guide covers the evidence in more depth.
Before you start
If you're taking an SSRI or another serotonergic medication, check with a prescriber first. A personal or family history of psychosis or bipolar disorder is the clearest contraindication in the literature.
